Abstract
Objective To study the effect of cellulose enzyme on extraction of alkaloid from Catharanthus roseus. Methods HPLC method was used to determine the contents of vinblastine, catharanthine and vindoline from C.roseus.Results Compared with the traditional acidic water extraction, the enzymatic method extraction yield of vinblastine, catharanthine and vindoline was increased respectively. Conclusion The yield of vinblastine, catharanthine and vindoline from C.roseus can be effectively increased by using enzymatic extraction process. It is available to use enzyme in extraction alkaloid from C.roseus.
