Abstract
A new type of heterocycle triazenediyl color group reagent BTNPT was synthesized. Its structure and acidity constants were studied spectrophotometrically. This reagent is used as photometric reagents for Hg\+\{2+\}.In a buffer solution Na\-2B\-4O\-7NaOH, the color agent BTNPT reacts with Hg(Ⅱ) ion to form sensitive color complexes in the presence of surface active agent TritonX 100. The method has high sensitivity. We have used these reagents to determine the Hg\+\{2+\} in waste water successfully.
