A Study on Urban System Based on Fractal Theory in Anhui Province

Abstract

The paper makes a study on urban system based on Fractal Theory in Anhui Province.Three characteristics have been summarized:(1)The urban system exists fractal and self-similarity within 46-276km scale.(2) There is a stronger spatial interaction among the cities of urban system,but medium-sized cities have a relatively large number,and the first city's monopoly is not strong.(3)The degree of spatial concentration of Wuhu urban system is the highest,and that of Hefei is the lowest,Bengbu,Huainan and Fuyang in between.In the end,some countermeasures are proposed.
