A Study on Narrative Function of “Keeping History by Ci" in the Ci-poetry of Southern Song Dynasty Adherents

In the interim of Song and Yuan Dynasty,the Ci-poets of Southern Song Dynasty generally composed Ci on the idea of keeping history by Ci.Historical narration and the narration of Ci-poets' tracks not only expanded the functional structure of Ci,but obtained the narrative function for the Ci-poets of the Southern Song adherents.Remarkable is the fact that the creative practices of Ci-poets really existed in the process of some Ci-poets' composition and,what's more,can be taken as the self-consciousness of composition.The application of the documentary,commendatory and derogatory,narrative writing techniques as well as Chapter-after-chapter Style is considered as explorations of the Ci-poets in the art performance.
