Abstract
Objective:To evaluate Kawasaki disease by echocardiography in the value of early diagnosis and treatment monitoring. Methods:In June 2003 to June of 2006,391 cases of children with a clinical diagnosis of Kawasaki disease and clinical echocardiography, laboratory information(such as platelets,ESR,CRP) were retrospectively analyzed, expansion of its laboratory information for coronary and non-coronary expansion of the two groups were analyzed statistically. Results:Of 391 patients with coronary artery disease in 160 cases,of which 68 cases LCA expansion,RCA47 cases.LCA,RCA expansion while 40 cases, coronary artery aneurysms in 10 cases, with five cases of pericardial effusion, and left ventricular enlargement eight cases, significant difference between the two groups laboratory data. Conclusion:Echocardiography inspection of Kawasaki disease is not only to provide a basis for the early diagnosis of Kawasaki disease.but also for guiding treatment and prognosis is of great value.
