Abstract
This paper researches the relationship between factor inputs and technological innovation based on nonlinear panel smooth transition autoregressive model utilizing Chinese high tech industry provincial-level panel data from 1995 to 2010.The result shows that: the relationship between factor inputs and technological innovation showed a significant nonlinear characteristic. The impact of factor inputs on technological innovation varied significantly in different location conditions. The model which takes openness as the conversion variable is the most accurate model reflecting the nonlinear relationship between factor inputs and technological innovation.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
