Abstract
The physical and chemical properties of the newly synthesized reagent 4-Methoxy-3-sulfobenzenediazoaminoazobenzene and its highly sensitive color reaction with Cd(Ⅱ)have been studied. In the presence of Triton X-100,MeOSDAA reacts withCd(Ⅱ)to form a stable orangered complex with molar ratio of 2:1 in Na2B4O7-NaOH buffer solution(pH=9.5~11.6).The apparent molar absorptivity is 7.56×104L·mol-1·cm-1 at the maximun absorption wavelength of 540nm.Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration range of 0~10μg Cd(Ⅱ)in 25mL solution.
