Abstract
rDNA sequence-based alignment and analysis is a widely used method for yeast molecular identification. D1/D2 domain of 26S rDNA and internal transcribed spacer(ITS)belong to the most important molecular markers in yeast identification. Both of these molecular markers of 20 yeast isolates were amplified by PCR assay and compared with alignment sequences in the GenBank databases using the BLAST program. Results showed that 19 out of 20 yeast isolates were consistent between two molecular identification methods,and both of these molecular markers exhibited enough differences between yeasts that it can be used in the discrimination of intraand inter-species relationships.
