Soil and Water Conservation Benefit in Baqiao District of Xi'an City

Abstract

The source and use direction of money of soil and water conservation in this district was analyzed based on the survey and statistics data of soil and water conservation from 1984 to 2004.The results indicated that the investment for water soil and water conservation showed an increasing tendency overall.Except for some years,the investment from state was the main source of capital.The area of soil erosion decreased to some extend and the overall effectiveness of soil and water conservation had been improved continuously.
