Abstract

Conical interference fit is one of the tightening method in engineering application.After building the FEA(finite element analysis)model of conical interference fit,the stress and dynamic performance with different interference,friction factor and fitting length were calculated.Compared with cylindrical interference fit with same fitting diameter and same interference parameters,the influence of conical interference fit with different contact situations and fitting length was obtained.And the conclusion was pointed out that the stress of cylindrical interference fit and conical interference fit had obvious difference,while the dynamic performance of both had little difference.
