Spatial Distribution of Population in Yinchuan Plain

Under the guidance of the western development strategy,Yinchuan Plain in Ningxia gets rapid social and economic development.However,because of exceptional geographical differences and policy factors,the spatial redistribution of population in Yinchuan Plain displays new features.To reveal these new features and rules and to provide optimized reference for the spatial distribution of population in Yinchuan Plain,this paper analyses the spatial distribution of population structure,spatial distribution of population evolution process,finally finds the demographic characteristics.At the same time,through comparing the spatial relationship between population and economy in Yinchuan Plain,discuss whether population distribution is reasonable.The results show that:the population center of gravity moves to the northeast,the population imbalance index decreases,which proves population distribution tends towards equilibrium;southwest to move,the population imbalance index increases,which proves population distribution tends to concentrated distribution.In addition,the population center and economic center of gravity have gradual differentiation in the east-west direction,but keep same in the north-south direction.
