Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value of the ultrasound echocardiographic evaluation of the left heart function of patients chronic heart failure. Methods The 153 patients with stage-2 to stage-4 chronic heart failure admitted in our hospital from January 2011 to January 2012 were selected and 48 healthy people were selected as the control group. The left ventricular ejection fraction, diastolic blood flow peak and shortening fraction were compared and analyzed using the ultrasound echocardiography. The clinical value of ultrasound echocardiographic evaluation of the left heart function of patients with chronic heart failure was investigated. Results Comparative analysis showed that the difference between the left ventricular enlargement incidence and the left atrial enlargement incidence in the three groups had significant statistically and that the cardiac structural change and the cardiac function degree of patients with chronic heart failure had close correlation. The left heart function parameters of the patients were significantly lower than those of healthy people, indicating the left heart function change of patients with chronic heart failure, with statistical significance. The patients and the control group were not significantly different in the shortening fraction. Conclusion Ultrasound echocardiographic evaluation of the left heart function of patients with chronic heart failure has high application value, thereby worthy of wide clinical promotion.
