Abstract

Surgery is the primary therapy for obstructive sleep apnea. The methods of surgical management include tracheotomy, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, laser assisted uvulopalatoplasty, maxillomandibular advancement, partial resection of the tongue and so on. Choice of the methods depends on the obstructive positions and degrees.
