Abstract
The utilization of unconventional water resources, especially the rainwater resources, has already been an important way of solving the lack of water resources. Based on the studies of the utilization of rainwater resources at home and abroad, the technology of rainwater utilization is investigated in this paper. Then the relationships between rainfall and collected rainfall, rainfall intensity and collected rainfall are analyzed through an experiment of the system of rainwater utilization. Furthermore, rainwater sample collected in a rain is analyzed after treatment according to related criteria. It's found that the relationships between collected rainfall and rainfall, collected rainfall and rainfall intensity are notlinear. The rainwater can be collected only when the rainfall is more than 20 mm or the average rainfall intensity is more than 0. 04 mm/min. The quality of the collected rainwater is better than the corresponding national standards, therefore it can be used as domestic miscellaneous water.
