Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of applying vertebral level of the lateral digital radiography(DR).Methods Using the vertebral level of the lateral DR,collected from 300 patients in our hospital in the past two years,we evaluated and analyzed patients' clinical history, image quality of radiography, reasons for failure of first-time radiography, and reasons for not generating Grade A images. Results In terms of image quality of radiography,we found that 92% of first-time radiography was successful. We also found that the proportion of radiographic image quality in Grade A,Grade B,and Grade C was 78%,19%,and 3% respectively. Conclusion The vertebral level of the lateral digital radiography is mainly used for patients who cannot apply regular vertebral lateral radiography. It is a convenient, safe, and effective alternative method. Thus,it is of great clinical value.
