Preliminary Ideas of Implementing Flood Insurance in China

Abstract
Based on summarizing the domestic and international flood insurance development situation, the paper analyzed the main existing problems in flood insurance in China, put forward the preliminary ideas of establishing flood insurance system including drawing up the National Flood Insurance Program, establishing the special organization of implementing flood insurance and working out regulations and policies relevant to flood insurance, suggested to implement flood insurance as soon as possible in our country.
