Comparison of three image processing methods realized by VC++ calling Matlab

Abstract

Calling Matlab in VC++ environment to process images is a effective shortcut way.This paper introduces three common methods for combined programming between VC++ and Matlab.The three common methods adopt Matlab engine,MATCOM compiler and COM Builder.The three methods are compared and researched in detail in the aspects of flow realization,data exchange,function call,running rate,graphic image function support and program release.The advantages and disadvantages of the three methods are concluded and summerized according to the research result.
