Characteristics of Mine Geological Disasters in Karst Landforms and the Control Countermeasures

Disaster is an event which endangers the security of human life,property,projects or the environment and the geological disaster is one of the most enormous natural disaster.The types and characteristics of the common geological disasters on our country are analyzed,as well as those of the mine geological disasters in karst landforms,and it is pointed out that there are varieties of types,broad distribution and tremendous effects in mine geological disasters at present in our country;the latent disaster is obvious,especially the coal mine is more serious than the non-coal mine and the metal mine is serious than the non-metal mine;the type of disaster related to the scale of mine,the mining ways and the type and location of mine.The problems existed in the research on mine geological disaster are given and it is pointed out that to strengthen the monitoring on the engineering disaster is the guarantee to realize the sustainable development strategy.
