Abstract

Around 7~(th) Communist Party Conference Mao Zedong's standpoint experienced the dramatic change from that America is typical democratic capitalist country to that America is really a hostile imperialist. The Sino-American relationship is the international background of change, while the American diplomatic policy to China is the basic yardstick of Mao Zedong's standpoint, cognition and evaluation. Mao Zedong's standpoint on America bares the ideological color and also the revolutionary realistic characteristics, and shows the inner tension between Mao Zedong's nationalism and modernization purchase.
