Abstract
Objective To investigate the protein expressions and significance of heat shock protein 70( HSP70) and nuclear factor κB( NF-κB) p65 in gastric carcinoma tissues. Methods 60 gastric cancer tissue samples from patients who received radical resection were collected from Yidu Central Hospital during Aug. 2011 and May 2012,immunohistochemistry was done to test the expression of HSP70,NF-κBp65 in the gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues, and the relationship between the two and pathological characteristics of gastric cancer was analyzed. Results The positive rate of NF-κBp65 protein expression was 63. 3% in gastric carcinoma tissues, higher than that in adjacent non-cancerous tissue's 30. 0%( P 0. 05),the positive rate of HSP70 protein expression was 78. 3% in gastric carcinoma tissues, higher than that in adjacent non-cancerous tissue's 13. 3%( P 0. 05). The expression of NF-κBp65,HSP70 was significantly correlated with the cancerous tissue differentiation degree, infiltrative depth, and lymph node metastasis( P 0. 05)NF-κBp65,HSP70 expression in the gastric cancer was positively correlated( P 0. 05). Conclusion HSP70 and NF-κBp65 may be involved in apoptosis and cell proliferation of gastric carcinoma, and play an essential role in carcinogenesis. Detection of the two indexes can provide basis for the treatment and prognosis judgment of gastric carcinoma to a certain extent.
