Discussion on the Position and Effect of the Library in the Knowledge Economy Era

This paper briefly expounds the basic characteristics of the knowledge economy era,and discusses on the position and effect of the library in the knowledge economy era from aspects of that the library is the tool for the human knowledge and information resources sharing,is the important base for the knowledge innovations,is the important war-space for the education and lifelong education,and is the space for people's cultural entertainment and relaxation.
