On Classical Culture and Popular Culture of National Culture

The author believes that culture consists of three phases. There is a distinction between classical and popular culture within the culture of our nation.Li is the core of the traditional classical culture and it is the refinement of popular culture.Li keeps changes and impacts its influences continuously. Li and popular culture have mutual impacts on each other. The isolation of classical and popular culture is regarded as the sign of the decline of the culture of a nation. In modern China, it is a proposition of great significance to construct and expand our national culture to respond to the impact aroused by cultural globalization. 
