Abstract
In China, people with Islamic belief are known as the hui-hui or the hui religion, while those people receiving formal school education are known as Confucianism scholar.During the Ming and the Qing dynasties,Hui scholars translated into Chinese many religious as well as philosophical books written in Arabic, and which also included the Arabians' research theories and research methodologies. In general, the Hui scholars' research involved two aspects,i.e.,rationalistic Confucian philosophy both in Chinese and Arabian's perspectives. The Hui scholars at that time not only had a good command of traditional Chinese philosophy, which included ideas and concepts held by the Confucianism, the Taoist and the Buddhism, they also knew very well the philosophical thought and concept held by the Islam religion. To this effect, the Hui's rationalistic Confucian philosophy is a fruit blending Chinese Confucian philosophy with philosophical idea held by the Islam religion, with the ideas held by the Sufism sect in particular.
