Research of Geographic Environment for the Middle of City in Beidu of Tang Dynasty

Taiyuan has a history of two thousand and five hundred years,despite it had been destroyed at the early Song Dynasty,the city still develop.In Tang Dynasty,Taiyuan,known as the North Capital,have a high political status,is the economic,political,military,and cultural center in north China.During Empress Wu Zetian,Cui Shenqing built the middle town of the North Capital and settle the structure of Taiyuan city from the Tang Dynasty to Song.However,the Middletown has already been destroyed,we can find little trace of residue.To explore the structure of its location and layout of the North Capital,will help us comprehend the history of Taiyuan better.
