Values of New Urbanism in the Vision of Sustainable Development

The 21st century is a century of sustainable development.Scholars and urban planners are constantly trying to practice and summed up a series of constructive models and methods to solve urban problems.The generation of new urbanism is a new approach to realize sustainable development.In this paper,we study the values of New Urbanism,and explain the planning principals.We explicitly propose the connotation of social ??and spatial values of New Urbanism.On the end of this article,we make critically review and forecast of the theory and practice of the values of New Urbanism.
