Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effect on the functional prognosis of patients with cerebral infarction treated with early rehabilitation or late rehabilitation. Method: 216 patients were randomly divided into two groups.Early rehabilitation group and late rehabilitation group were treated with Bobaths and motor relearning programme method. The two groups were assessed by the clinical neural function-defect assessment set, concise Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA) and modified Barthel index(MBI).Result:The scores of the clinical neural function-defect assessment set,FMA,MBI demonstrated:there were no different between two groups before teeatment, the scores improved significantly between pre-tranining and post-traning in the two groups, but the degree of improvement in the early rehabilitation group was significantly higer than that of the late rehabilitation group. Conclusion:Early rehabilitation and later rehabilitation can facilitate the function recovery ,and early rehabilitation is better to facilitate the function recovery in patients with cerebral infarction than late rehabilitation significantly.
