Abstract
The 2,4,6-trichlorophenol of the metabolite of fungicide prochloraz in soil and mushroom were extracted with acetone by blending and the extracts were partitioned with dichloromethane. The residue was subject to hydrolysis and methylation with pyridine-hydrochloric acid. The residue was reextracted, then quantitatively determined by gas chromatograph coupled with electron capture detector. The minimum detection limit for 2.4.6-trichlorophenol was 0.19×10-12g and the lowest detection concentrations in soil and mushroom were 0.0002mg/kg respectively. The recoveries of prochloraz spiked in soil and food samples were 89.62~96.20%,with variable coefficients of 1.75~3.20% respectively.
