Application of the Head Nurse Work Manual for Quality Monitoring in Continuous Improvement of Nursing Care Quality

Objective To observe the effect of the head nurse work manual for quality monitoring in continuous improvement of nursing care quality.Methods Contents and requirement of the head nurse work manual for quality monitoring was modified according to evaluation standards of nursing quality in high-quality nursing service and requirement of grade hospital;the enforcement procedure included training head nurses′ ability in writing and implement,and monitoring the quality of care based on the manual.Results Head nurses′ management level was enhanced by the quality monitoring chain of thinking highly of quality-finding problems-continuous improvement-following up the result,head nurses also handled the method in nursing quality enhancement and improved management level.Conclusion The head nurse work manual for quality monitoring is used in continuous improvement of nursing care quality,which may improve the development of nursing care.
