Abstract

Graft copolymerization of acrylamide(AM) onto carboxymethyl chitin(CMC) was carried out.The effect of reaction temperature and time, amount of initiator, solvent, monomer on graft copolymerization were studied. The optimum condition was shown as following: CMC 0.4g,water 50mL,initiator 60mg,monomer 1.6g,at 50℃,reaction time 3.0h.
