Application effect of clinical nursing pathway in hip replacement during perioperative period

Objective To discuss the application effect of clinical nursing pathway in hip replacement during perioperative period. Methods 80 patients were selected and they were evently divided into two groups in randomly.In the observation group,the clinical nursing pathway was implemented.To be specific,there were health education in the first day of hospitalization.Completion of preoperative preparations in the second and third days,guidance for psychology,dietary and rehabilitation after surgery,and discharge instruction and telephone follow up at regular intervals after discharging from hospital.In the control group,the regular nursing was carried out.The patient′s satisfaction and total hospital stay were compared and grasp of relevant knowledge and skill of the disease by patients were analyzed. Results In the observation group,the nursing satisfaction rate reached 85.0%,which was greatly higher than that of the control group(47.5%)(P0.05).The hospital stay in the observation group was(14.3±2.1)d,which was shorter than that of the control group [(21.3±5.1)d](P0.05).In the observation group,the excellent and good rate of grasping relevant nursing knowledge and skills was 85.0%,which was remarkably higher than that of the control group(60.0%)(P0.05). Conclusion For patients with hip replacement,application of clinical nursing pathway can greatly improve the therapeutic effect and nursing satisfaction as well as shorten the hospital stay.
