Xi Ming,as thinking creed of Zhang Zai,is worshipped by latter scholars,which is even comparable to The Analects and Mencius.Although it has only over three hundred words,it is not only spiritual home of Chinese intellectual class but also offers an ideal blueprint for society.Furthermore,it contains profound aesthetic connotations.The aesthetic concepts of the unity of heaven and humanity and brotherhood of man,the aesthetic mind of depending on patches of me and aesthetic attitude of deposit shun not ning,all those mentioned above are profound aesthetic viewpoints of Zhang Zai.
