Study on the Translation Strategy from the Perspective of Cross-culture

From the perspective of cross—cultural translation,the paper discusses two kinds of translation strategiesdomestication and foreignization.The difference between literal free translation and domestication foreignization is also expounded.The focus of the former is on the linguistic level,while the latter is on the cultural level.Then the author explores the dialectical relationship between domestication and foreiguization.It comes to the conclusion that they are complementary and dynamic.Lastly,the paper points out overemphasizing domestication or foreignization is one-sided and unscicntific and should be avoided.
