Abstract
In this paper, the properties of ferrite microwave absorbent prepared from ironsand were studied. The change of the real and imaginary part of complex permittivity, loss of ironsand with variation of microwave frequency, the proportion of ironsand to wax, were described and analyzed. We found that the ironsand could be used as a microwave absorbent.
