Abstract
In Lancang River Basin, special topographic and landform condition the baiis of the pattern of ecological landscape in this area. The purpose of this paper is forms to find out the characteristics on topographic condition and the topographic regular pattern along with the Lancang River basin in north-south direction in different areas. In the process of study, three typical case study areas in up-stream, middle-stream, down-stream along with river basin are selected. Based on the GIS function of topographic analysis and statistics technique, comparison and analysis are made to, achieve the recognition on special topographic condition, especially in these aspects on case terrain elevation condition, slope classification and distribution, aspect classification and distribution, and river or stream system condition.
