Abstract
The title complex of Zinc(Ⅱ)with α-hydroxydiphenylacetic acid,1,10-phenanthroline and zinc perchlorate anhydrous, has been synthesized and characterized in the solvent mixture of water and methanol.Crystal data for this complex:monoclinic, space group C2/c,a=2.5912(4),b=1.13381(17),c=1.7457(3)nm;β=1 123.697(2)0,V=4.2671(11)nm3,Dc=1.370 g/cm3,Z=4,F(000)=1824,final GooF=1.005,R1=0.0367,wR2=0.0834.The crystal structure shows that the zinc ion is coordinated with four nitrogen atoms of two 1,10-phenanthroline molecules and two oxygen atoms of two α-hydroxydiphenylacetic acid molecules, forming a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The result of TG analysis shows that the title complex was stable under 230.0 ℃.
