Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of aerobics on the free radicals in peripheral blood of aging rats after being received psychological stress. Methods: Twenty eight healthy female SD rats were divided into four groups at random:controlled(C) group, receiving swimming training for 60 mins(S),only getting psychological stress(P),receiving swimming training for 60 mins and psychological stress(P+S).The open-field test and the oxygen free radicals in peripheral blood of SD rats were determined. Results: ① Compared with C group, the numbers of crossing in other groups were significantly higher(P0.05);the numbers of rearing in P and P+S group were significantly lower than that in C and P group(P0.01).② the SOD activity and the H2O2 concentration in each group were no significant difference;compared with the C and P groups the MDA concentration in S and P+S groups were significantly decreased(P0.05);compared with the P group the CAT activity in S group were significantly increased(P0.05);compared with the C group the activity of GSH-px in S and P+S groups were significantly increased(P0.05),but the activity of GSH-px in P group were significantly decreased(P0.05). Conclusion: The unwell proper psychological stress can affect the self-moving behavior and the exploring behavior of the animal, and induce the increment of the free radicals inside the body which hurt the body;and the aerobics can alleviate the effect of the psychological stress in the body.
