Abstract
Objective Utilize the ultrasonic biomicroscope to carry on the routine to check the body of the cataract patient, find primary iris cilliary cyst and the situation takes place. Methods 391 cases(426 eyes) with cataract undertake UBM check. All cases without past history of trauma and operation inside eye. Results Among this series of 391 cases(426 eyes),22 cases(25 eyes) were found with iris and ciliary cysts, the occurrence rate was 5.87%.Among them,15 cases(17 eyes) of single cysts were detected, the occurrence rate was 68%;7 cases(8 eyes) of multiple cysts were detected, the occurrence rate was 32%.37 cysts were detected in the 25 eyes.Among them,17 cysts located in the temporal, the rate was 45.95%;14 cysts located in the inferior, the rate was 37.84%;3 cysts located in the nasal, the rate was 8.11%;3cysts located in the superior, the rate was 8.11%.Conclusion There is cataract patient analogous to the proportion that has primary iris and cilliary cyst at the same time.UBM can be used to detect the primary iris and ciliary cysts in patients with catarct, and offer the size and location and number of the cysts. The occurrence rate of primary iris and cliary cysts in cataract was 5.87%.The cysts often locate in the temporal and inferior.
