Abstract
Objective: To study the clinical effect of continuous bedside hemofiltration(HF) plus hemoperfusion(HP) in the treatment of severe acute organophos pesticide poisoning(AOPP).Methods: Thirty-four patients of severe AOPP(experiment group) were treated with continuous bedside hemofiltration and hemoperfusion on the basis of conventional treatment from May 2004 to October 2011.The clinical effects were compared with those of another 32 cases(control group) which were only received conventional treatment. Results: The total dose of atropine were(521.41±79.54) mg in experimental group and(620.18±69.79) mg in control group(P0.05).The time of coma to wakefulness was(6.09±4.54) h in experimental group versus(11.24±3.23) h in control group(P0.05).Average hospital stay of experimental group were(10.32±2.76) d versus(14.87±4.43) d of the control group(P0.05).Thirty cases in experimental group were cured and the successful rate was higher than that of control group(88.24% versus 65.63%,P0.05).Conclusion: Combined with internal medicine medications,HP+HF treatment can quickly remove the heavy organophosphorus pesticide poisoning state, reduce complications, and improve the cure rate of severe AOPP.
