Abstract
With 70 % methanol ultrasonic extraction of total polyphenols in walnut kernel,Folin-Ciocalteu colorimetry method to determine total polyphenols in Walnut kernel was developed. The results showed that the reaction was carried out with 0. 5 mL of Folin-Ciocalteu reagent and 8mL of 10 % aqueous Na2CO3solution in temperature 25 ℃ and reaction time 2. 5h. The detection wavelength was at 770 nm. Total polyphenols content and absorbency is good linear relationship. The average spiked recovery was 98. 4 %,with a RSD of 4. 28 %. This method is easy to operate with fast, sensitive, and stable determination of total polyphenols in mulberry fruits.
