The Imperial Court and Prefecture or County——Zhengding Prefecture in the Qing Dynasty

At all the Chinese feudal dynasties,the relationship between the imperial court and local prefecture is the important administrative basis of the so-called logical administration and harmonious people or contrary to development.Zhengding,an ancient well-known prefecture,has been the important political,economic and cultural town in the north since the Han Dynasty.Especially,during the reign of Emperor Shunzhi in the early years of the Qing Dynasty,Zhengding used to be an important town near the capital after entering and hosting the Central Plains,which may concern the fate of the new dynasty.Through the description happened in Zhengding Prefecture from the four aspects such as chasing and wiping out the peasant army,the major case of inspection tour supervision,imperial examinations of military officer and natural disasters,the paper presents a more three-dimensional interaction of Zhengding Prefecture and the central imperial court during the reign of Emperor Shunzhi.
