Abstract
Engine is the most important part of a vehicle. It requires enough intensity, good abrasion-resistance and working reliably during its designed usage period. It also needs to reduce the volume and the weight. In order to meet these(requirements),checking the intensity and reliability of the engine's components is absolutely necessary during the design. As an example,a crankshaft-connecting rod system is modelled and analyzed by using UG Structures. The method's goal is to check the intensity and reliability of the components during the developing stage for this mechanism.
