Clinical studies on retention enema with chinese drugs in treatment of ulcerative colitis

Objective To observe the curative effect of retention enema with self-design Chinese drug Ulceration FormulaⅠin treatment of ulcerative colitis.Methods100 cases were random divided into 2 groups:treatment group(51 cases),which were given the retention enema with self-design Chinese drugs,and controlled group(49 cases)were given the retention enema with western drugs.ResultsThe results showed that there was a significance difference between them both in the curative rate and the total effective rate(P0.05).Treatment group was significant superior to controlled group.ConclusionUlceration FormulaⅠin treatment of ulcerative colitis has good curative effect with high clinical value,but the long-term effect should be operated further.
