Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effection of swallowing training combined with acupuncture after stroke swallowing disorder. Methods: Retrospective analysis from January 2009 to December 2010 in our department through the acupuncture and swallowing training treatment of swallowing disorder after stroke patients with a total of 66 patients, who were divided into the treatment group (acupuncture and swallowing treatment in combination with training) and the control group (simple acupuncture treatment), and evaluated and analyzed curative effect of the two groups of patients after treatment. Results: Only with acupuncture treatment and using acupuncture treatment and swallowing training with combined therapy of swallowing disorder after stroke were remarkable curative effect. Among them the treatment group total efficient was higher than those in the control group, the cure rate was obviously higher than those in the control group, no efficiency was obviously lower than those of the control group, P0.01. Differences between the two groups were significant. Conclusion: It's worth to deserves further promote the use of acupuncture and swallowing training with combined therapy of swallowing disorder after stroke symptoms.
