Abstract

The negative wordwu(勿) in Cixi dialect typically represents the use of the negative adverbs.This paper,investigating semantic meaning of wu(勿)in Cixi dialect,mainly examines wu(勿) structure,wu(勿) sentenceand the combination of wu(勿)with other words.
