Abstract
68 wheat cultivars and 947 wheat lines from Northeast spring wheat area(including Liaoning,Jilin,Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia) had been identified for their resistances to all three experimental races 21C3CTH,21C3CFH and 34MKG of stem rust at seedling and/or adult stage during 2006-2010.The result indicated that 48 wheat cultivars and 877 wheat lines were resistant to stem rust, which accounted for 70.56% and 92.61% of all tested materials, respectively. It was concluded the wheat cultivars and wheat lines in Northeast spring area with good resistance to stem rust, but there were a number of susceptible wheat cultivars and lines,so the threat to the prevailing of stem rust still existed.
