Abstract

Objective:To summarize the experience of thoracic sympathectomy under thoracoscope for palmar hyperhidrosis. Methods:Clinical materials of thoracic sympathectomy under thoracoscope for treating palmar hyperhidrosis from December 2004 to september 2006 were analysed.Resuts:All cares of the operation were successfully completed.The hands of all patients be- came dry immediately after the operation with no complication.The average hospitalization was 2 days.Conslusions:Thoracic sympathectomy under thoracoscope is a safe,effective treatment for palmar hyperhidrosis.
