Abstract
The causes for the increase of the water injection pressure and the descend of the water injection capacity of low permeability reservoirs in Wei 360 fault-block oilfield are analyzed, and it is held that the high content and the large particle size of the solid impurity in the injected water are the main cause, which is mismatched with the throat of the pores in the low-permeability reservoirs, and the precipitation of paraffin near borehole zones is other cause for the plugging of the pores. The schemes for removing this kind of plugging are made. The development result and economic benefit of blocks are improved and after the schemes are implemented. The study results can provide reference for the development of the same kind of low-permeability reservoirs.
