Abstract

Under the economical globalization condition,the region economic integration is the only choice to promote the advancement of industrialization and urbanization.Only those who take the initiative in the region economic integration development can win in the economical globalization competition.So it is very important to grasp the status and function of the economical belt of upstream Yangtze River.This article analyzes its characteristic from the national productive forces layout,the big strategy of western development and the economic development of Yangtze valley three aspects.
