Abstract
This paper discusses the differences between the mineral hall in geological digital museum based on Web and conventional mineral hall in geological museum on-line. On the base of grasping the deep signification of the mineral hall in geological digital museum and considering the characteristics of mineralogy, a framework of such system is proposed. In addition, this paper describes some of the techniques in its implementation.
