Strategy and practice of digital soil museum

The concept, essential factors, and characteristics of a digital soil museum are introduced, some key technologies involved in construction of the digital soil museum are analyzed, and detail building steps of digital soil museum are put forward in this paper. A digital soil Museum should have four components including the origin and evolution of soil, soil types, utilize and ecology. Pointed out that the digital soil museum is an integral part and the new performance methods of the soil museum, and it's an effective way to carried out scientific research and popular science.
